We experience pain in many forms. Physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.

 

We experience physical pain, where our bodies are injured in some way physically. Whether it is an injury, a surgery, an infection, physical pain is our bodies way of saying, "I am injured".

We experience emotional pain in many forms. Whether it is sadness, grief, pain to our sense of self or belief in ourself, embarrassment, shame, guilt, loss, all of these experiences are causes of emotional pain.

​

We also experience mental pain. When we are learning something new that is challenging, when we have brain fog or brain fatigue from burning our engines too long, when we think of or see something that causes us discomfort, all of these are ways we can experience mental pain.

​

When we experience spiritual pain, it comes with a deep sense of aloneness. Of separation. When we are not balanced spiritually, when we are disconnected from the Source that gave us life, the peace in us that is vital to our survival is missing and we feel that emptiness in the very core of our being, whether we recognize it or not. There is much confusion in this world and even pain around the thought or even the word "spirituality" and that is a subject for a different area of this site. For now, it is just important to know that you have a spirit, and when you are disconnected that spirit you feel a sense of aloneness that cannot be filled by any Earthly means.

Physical pain limits our ability to live the life we were truly meant to live while on this Earth. Reiki works with physical pain by shining the frequency and vibration of harmony into your being. Pain is not only transmitted via your nervous system to tell your brain that you are in pain, but it is also a frequency, a vibration that is chaotic and out of balance. This can literally be felt by those that are sensitive to it. You can see a person who is in a tremendous amount of pain and almost feel it yourself because its frequency is radiating off of them. Harmony, pure Divine Harmony, is also a frequency and a vibration, and all parts of your being, and when you experience this frequency and vibration in your being, you begin to re-form back into a harmonious state. You must remember, if you have learned what I will repeat often, that the energetic forms of the being affect the physical. So, if the vibrations of chaos and pain dissipate around an area that is in pain, the physical follows, leading to decreased amounts of the sensation of pain in that area. I'll take it a step further and explain that even when an area of the physical body that was injured is no longer in pain, the energy the "remembrance" of that pain can still be stuck in that area of the body. This is why when I work on clients at times, I am able to "see" a memory of a painful event held within the energetic field which we can then work to release. It is also the reason for "phantom limb pain" where people who have had a limb amputated can still feel the pain from that limb. Your energetic body "remembers" the limb and "remembers" the pain. The Light of Reiki is able to shine light into all aspects of you, the physical and the energetic imprint, "memory" of all of these things in order to help you heal. Every part of your being responds to the Frequency and Light of Reiki, and it also works in beautiful harmony with the Vagus nerve, bringing us out of the "fight or flight" state that pain triggers, and into the "rest and digest" state that we must be in if true healing is to occur.

Emotional pain can come like a tidal wave, overtaking us and causing us to be lost in an ocean of chaos. Reiki works with emotional pain with its Frequency and Vibration of Love. There is no greater healer of emotional pain than Love. That is what we all seek, whether we admit it or not, and this Love is one that holds you and surrounds your chaotic vibrations and frequencies of emotional pain with Divine Love, allowing them to once again become harmonious. Because, and here it is again, emotional pain has its own vibration and frequency. When those vibrations and frequencies sit within your being for too long, they affect the organs that they are near. Many of these chaotic frequencies are over the heart, throat and abdomen. Have your ever felt so much emotional pain it felt like you couldn't breathe? Or experience such deep grief it felt like you were having a heart attack? Well, nobody is choking you or sitting on your chest and yet the physical sensations are still there and they are un-deniable. This is energy. Science will get there, it is coming along. And these chaotic frequencies and vibrations, if not released, again become stuck in that magnetic energy field of ours and become layered, eventually causing what can feel like a rock wall sitting right on us. And that rock wall leads to physical disease. Reiki helps to remove that wall, one brick at a time.

However, it is vital to understand that Reiki does not just go in an "do" these things fully without any work or participation from you. You must always be an active participant in any healing that occurs. Reiki can calm you, put you in a peaceful state of love and balance that allows you to see the painful emotion and understand what must be done to release this from your being. This we work through in sessions, and your own being works through this with the Spirt of Reiki on a level that is unknown to me. It is your journey to walk. I am simply a bearer of the Light that will help to Guide you into harmony on your path.

Have you ever felt like your brain was literally on fire?  So much of our dis-harmony, especially in our Western culture of do, do do, is our mental state. How do we expect to find mental peace and harmony if we do not take the time to place ourselves in a state where that peace and harmony can be grown and cultivated? Reiki is there to guide us and help us with this mental dis-order in a beautiful way, because true the answer lies in the way we "order" our thoughts (more to come on this). Our mental energetic field is largest over our heads but also exists in its most powerful form in our hearts. This is the difference in thinking from your heart and thinking from your head. Both must exist, but if they do not exist in a balanced state, neither does your life:) The weight from mental exhaustion can feel like a mountain on top of your head. Reiki is, again, the vibration of Divine Harmony. It will shine into your mental being, your mental energetic field, and begin to dissapate the heavy that exists. This is how mountains move:) It is like the cloud of smoke and fog clearing so you can finally receive the higher thought forms that exist in the sunlight, helping you to finally "see the Light of Day":)

Why can't I see what I know is there?"

Each one of us was Created from a seed of Divine source. A Divine Spark of Spirit that burns within us, shining its Light to guide our way in this world. You can see this Spark in the eyes of a child, innocent and full of pure joy and pure love when they are birthed into this world. You can see it in the eyes of an Elder full of Wisdom, almost as if looking into their eyes is like looking into the soul of the Creator themself. This is our own Spark of Spirit, holding within it the Divine story written for our life before we arrive here in our Earthly form. This Spark can be grown, cultivated into a force of pure Fire in this world. A flame that can lift us up and light our way, or, by our choice, a flame that can burn us and those surrounding us down in its chaos. This spark, through the darkness of pain, trauma and disharmony can become buried so deep we no longer feel it, know of its existence, or see it shine, and yet, it is there non-the less. Once you RE-connect with this  Divine "RE" this Divine Flame, you are connecting back to Source and thereby the Creator who brought that Source into being.

This is the gift of Reiki. It was placed in this world as the Great Light in the darkness that pierces through all of the disharmony that exists here to guide us back to the Light that surrounds us all and leads us home. We simply don't know that it is there, unless we are taught. Reiki reconnects us to Divine Light, it is the spiritual fan that allows our own Spark to grow in a balanced and harmonious way, in its own Divine Timing, so we may walk the path we were meant to during our time on Earth and not burn out, or burn ourselves or others, before our purpose is fulfilled.

We were not meant to live short lives full of sadness, sickness, pain and disease. Longevity, joy, peace, passion, harmony, all of these things are possible here....when grown and cultivated by walking the Path of Light. That Light of Spirit shines out of your own heart. You can choose to rise UP and place your feet upon it and find your way home, or you can choose to sink, cut off from the peace and prosperity that comes by the choice, the intention to ARISE and find that Light.

And to share a secret, we are all connected by that Light, whether we know it or not. Each and every one of us. When just one of us sets the intention to Rise to the Light, to help create in themselves and the world around them peace, love and harmony, they pull that light and the rest of us up as well, the effects rippling out to all around them. That is the power of the heart. That is the power of love. That is the power of intention. Every choice you make in this life, even if it seems small, has a ripple effect on the greater whole. Intention, choices, love, combined with Reiki....well let me tell you....that comes with a tidal wave of Light that has the ability to lift humanity as a whole.....all it takes is Divine Faith, Divine Love, Divine Intention and Divine Light and in the blink of an eye.....the World can shift:)
