Usui Reiki Ryoho

Usui Reiki Ryoho was founded by Mikao Usui Sensei in Japan in the 1920s as a form of Spiritually guided healing and means of attaining peace, balance and harmony with Self and Universe. Healing with hands and other various forms of energy work have been practiced by countless cultures over many centuries of time. It's long been understood that the laying on of hands, among other methods, holds within it an ability to heal in ways not fully understood, and yet the effects have been clear to see. Science has also expanded, showing that all things in the Universe are vibrating frequencies of light and sound, cascading around us as we walk, unaware of the beautiful symphony that surrounds us. A symphony that brought all into existence and maintains that existence on a daily basis. Reiki is a guiding Force in this symphony. Filled with Divine Love and Light, and ready to guide us on how to remain healthy, peaceful, calm, and live out our full purpose in this lifetime in beautiful harmony with all that surrounds us.

In his search for life's purpose and quest to attain Anshin Ritsumi, a state of being perfectly calm, joyful and at peace, Mikao Usui Sensi risked his life by climbing Mt. Kurama in Japan and fasting for 21 days. At the end of this fast, he was struck by a "great white light" and became one with the Universe, leading him to an understanding of what this Universal Lifeforce energy was, as well as gifting him with the ability to heal. Usui Sensei went on after this experience to develop the practice of Usui Reiki Ryoho, in order to to teach people how to connect with this energy and share it so that others could benefit from the experience. He and his students, part of the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai in Tokyo Japan, went on to do great works of healing, and Reiki has since spread world wide helping countless people achieve health, happiness, peace and harmoney with themselves and the world around them.

 

Reiki has grown in its names and forms of use over the decades between the practices and teachings of different Masters. Growing in Guidance and slightly differing in technique, the premise has always been the same, and it is simple. Connect your heart to the Great Divine Life-Force of Love and Light that exists in this Universe, and allow it to flow into your heart space or the heart of the one you are holding space for, and allow it to flow freely. The benefits will always speak for themselves, as is the Way of Reiki.

 

The use of Reiki has differed some between the teachings and practices of West and East, with the West preferring a more physical-results approach and the East a more spiritual-results approach. However, the bridge between the two is now forming as the desire for all beings on the planet has expanded to a hope for understanding the Greater Reality and our place in it. Reiki and the use of it during this time is helping to build that bridge. In a time where light and dark swirl around each other in a storm of conquest, Reiki is the silent bridge through the storm. That storm could be your health, your emotions, your mental state, or the greater picture of the state of the planet, or Universe. The bridge has always existed for those willing to seek and walk across it with an open heart, ready to walk the path of true Divine Healing.

Mikao Usui Sensei pulled into this time a Divine gift that has lightened the darkness that has covered this planet and so many for so long. The fog is finally lifting, the waters finally settling, and the light of Day has begun to show its face again.

It is a beautiful time to be alive, and my deepest of gratitudes to Usui Sensei for being brave enough and having the heart to call that Light in and share it with the world.
